The Enduring Enigma of Susanna Moodie is a quirky documentary film that explores this phenomenon while interpreting Moodie's actual pioneer life in a series of sometimes funny, frequently cranky and invariably moving monologues interpreted by the celebrated Irish actor Isolde O Neill. The film also features scenes from an imaginary epic silent movie era adaptation of the Susanna Moodie story, Into the Bush.
